Has everyone noticed that Ralph has been posting at least one new comic every day? Given his situation, I'd say that deserves a round of applause and all the dinero we can spare. And maybe a little more beyond that.

Well, not EVERY day, but pretty often.

Agreed, and once I get my first real paycheck from my new job I'll be starting shortly, I'll be sending something his way... (alas, having spent the last six months unemployed, my own wallet's a bit thin at the moment. :( Looks like everyone on my Christmas list will only be getting cards this year.)

While we're on the subject, though -- since your hand has been forced prematurely, Ralph, you might find it useful to go to a system similar to what Isabel Marks is doing with her "Namir Dieter" and "You Say It First" strips. Basically, pick a target monthly amount (Marks has been setting hers in the $200 - $300 range) for each of your three strips, with a counter that updates every few days so people can see how close to the targets you are for the month. All counters reset to $0.00 on the first day of the month.

Then, offer the following incentive: As long as each strip reaches its target goal by the end of each month, it will continue update on the current schedule (every other day for Nip & Tuck and Goblin Hollow, and twice a week(?) for Questor) for the following month. If any strip does not reach its target by the end of the month, that strip goes back to updating once a week (or less) for the following month.

Just a thought... It seems to be working fairly well for Isabel, anyway. :)

That's a more than fair arrangement, I think.
