What can I say? I think the expression on Ronnie's face is great. He's probably thinking that Lily's an angel for doing that. Great strip! I really hope we see more of Ronnie Civet and his pals in Goblin Hollow.

A civet, in case anyone's wondering is:

1. Any of various carnivorous catlike mammals of the family Viverridae of Africa and Asia, having anal scent glands that secrete a fluid with a musky odor. Also called civet cat.
2. The thick yellowish musky fluid secreted by one of these mammals, used in the manufacture of perfumes.
3. The fur of one of these mammals.

Perhaps he found that his pants were to loose for him to walk all the way home and had to turn back?

Ok, so that makes my first theory the agreed upon story that we should stick to, until or unless something better is suggested... right?

At the bottom of the 11-27 and 11-28 strips, Our Esteemed Leader mentions that these strips were out of their proper order, and intended to be posted on 11-6 and 11-8, respectively.

(Maybe he dropped a stack of strips on the way to the scanner and these two landed under the sofa?

Oh, that explains it. Technical glitch, not writing error. That fits what I know of him a lot better.
