Ralph thank you for a wonderfully fun ride! Your talents as an artist and a story teller are just incredible.

I also thank all of the forum members who have stayed with the story posting interesting and thoughtful comments. Checking the forum each day made it twice as much fun.

As many of you have already figured out, the characters of Gelarid and Ookami were commissioned. What Ralph has done with our characters goes far beyond what I imagined when I set up the commission as a birthday present for my daughter.

My favorite comic strip is when Gelarid changes into his dragon form before going on a night patrol and leaves his coffee cup on the roof!

Glad you enjoyed the sniping at you, Ookami. Definitely a character you love to hate.

...as well as a possible future complication for Ben and Lily. The "Ook" is probably the type to take revenge for imagined slights. ("How dare you process me for arrest? I'll get you for that! I'll get your whole family!")

I think that Ookami would not bother to come back after Ben and Lily just for revenge because he's pragmatic and looking for the big payoff. Unless he could some how use Ben and Lily to get the pearls back from Gelarid... That's more like Ookami.

Personally I hope that Ookami stays put in jail long enough to let Ben and Lily have a wonderful wedding and an enjoyable honeymoon. But I do think that someone like Ookami will figure a way to get out sooner or later.
