And They All Lived Happily Ever After

Post by Marcus Talbain »

heh, that's just what that scene brings to mind.
that scene is so heartwarming it brings a tear to my eye, Ben's Happy, Lily's happy, Schlock's happy, the drones aren't very happy but hey, they don't count.

and since Ben didn't drop his weapon and Lily dropped her's he can be the noble hero protecting her from all the gun-toting maniacs.

I wonder what Elf will think about Lily?

Well, either two options, one get te 'WTH' (or'F' if you are more sursing inclined) look, or two, smile and be happy. Lets just say Lily does not fit the thoughts that Elf had of her when he was describing her (though he did explain her pretty good I thought)

Bear hug!!

[...unWARP!!!]

Good evening.

Well, that would include a puma hug as well, I guess.

I just hope Lily's didn't drop her weapons too far away, though. There's still the matter of the elephants, those evil clowns, and any more snakes as well.

In the meantime, of course, I'll enjoy the best strip Ralph's done so far.

Next to the Tuck/Thelma kiss, I suppose.

Until next time, remember:

I AM THE J.A.M.

Good evening.

Is it just me or does Ben look particularly fit in today's strip? I guess shooting lawyer drones is *very* good exercise. :D

Ben, the buff bruin!

Yeah, I'd noticed that Ben seems more muscular, and maybe even a bit taller than in previous strips. I'm guessing this is part of the "Fantasy/Science-Fiction Movie" theme that seems to be running through this whole Schlock / UTLT comic crossover, and I'm just hoping Ralph comes out with a colored version!

Wonderful series, loved it. Best part: gell-o-covered gun-toting Lily (if we're ignoring Schlock, who looked marvellous in every frame he was in  )

Kritter, appreciatively, out

Jeese oh Petey!

Well be it as it may, Ben and Lily can still do a duet of a Steeler's Wheel's song. (Clowns to the left of me, Jokers to the right, here I am, stuck in the middle with you)

While all this fun and frivolity is going on, Petey has gone shpilkes and who knows what he is going to do before it is all over. Velvet hasn't joined the snake hunting party like the rest of the posse has, so where is he anyway? Has he hidden away somewhere after having latched onto the PDCL's AI thinking it's a funny looking Teddy Bear?

And if so, How will Petey live this down in the Officer's Club?

Looking at Monday's comic again, Ralph, I think you could just take that last panel and auction it off. That's a great scene on its own - Lily and Ben's embrace is SO touching, and of course Shlock in the background having a lawyer flambe is just beautiful. :)

If this crossover were a comic book, that picture would fit the cover VERY nicely.
