Hmm... Fred may be faster (amazing the encouragement an enraged bear can provide, no?), but he's also seriously outnumbered. What happens if the Posse decides he needs some education in the application of humor?<P>(And of course, suspicion for the plague of practical jokes that would befall him would fall square upon Ben's broad shoulders. After all, Ben <I>was</I> the one he was taunting... and Ben now has that record for mooning a police officer...)

I don't know about rabbits being fast, but they are quick. Back when I was foolish enough to jog every day (long ago) I could do a mile in about 6 and a half minutes. A little brown rabbit was helping itself to my backyard garden one day as I was going out for my excercise, and I took chase. I doubt I could sprint much over 20 Mph even then, but I was gaining on that little beast when he took a hard left turn that I just couldn't follow.
Slip-thud! Down I went, and off it ran.
