The Hollow Wood Hearties!

Post by UncleMonty »

Looks like they're going for the big band sound. The foxes are all horns, the squirrels are high-strung and keyed-up, the mice have come out with a woodwind, and the rabbits are kicking it off...!

Words are fun to play with. Sometimes I can't stop myself.

as soon as I heard the band's name, I was reminded of the 'Holly Head Harpies' of the Harry Potter series.

still, the ability to string together a series of signifigant words like that gets harder the longer you go.
I still say the doctor did it....

I love Harry Potter, but I didn't make that connection. Very funny comic today. :D

Nope. We didn't see the wedding, after all.

Happy New Year, everyone! Thirty minutes to go, here.

Here's a copy of the Journal Entry I posted on DA.....
__________________________________________________

You know, I spent New Year's Eve at home and I happened to listening two minutes before midnight. I listened for...well, I do not know what for but I was listening. I heard nothing. Absolute silence. But it was not a sad silence, or a empty one. The silence was excited. I could almost feel the energy in the air. It was like the entire city was holding its breath, just waiting. Waiting for the time to tick. As the seconds ticked away, the anticipation grew and grew. And I heard GOD, saying..."I'm here. I'm here. Let's do this." And I was happy. I was at peace. For a brief moment, I was at peace. Then it hit. The new year. It was the leap, the jump that everyone was waiting for. The city exploded in fireworks. It is going to be a wonderful year. Happy New Year, everyone. God Bless You!

And a cheerful IGLOO!!!
