Buckle up

Post by SolidusRaccoon »

So now we have a tour guide to "Crisis on Infinite Tulpas"
Yes, sir. I agree completely. It takes a well-balanced individual... such as yourself to rule the world. No, sir. No one knows that you were the third one... Solidus. ...What should I do about the woman? Yes sir. I'll keep her under surveillance. Yes. Thank you. Good-bye...... Mr. President.

I'm thinking the goblin overhaul might be right up Penny's alley

I can definitely live with Lilly's retconned hairstyle!!

"Available"? "Bumpy"? Why do I have the feeling that there is going to be a character death somewhere around here?

But.......but.....I don't have any Batman underwear.....

Also, I doubt that RH is going to kill off a character unless he sets up some long involved storyline. Think you are being a tinsy bit paranoid there, JAM. But aren't we all? Penny is going to be an intersting 'guide' I have to say.
Jesus said to her, 'I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?' John 11: 25-26

I'm still holding by breath. with the horrid feeling in my gut that this is going to be bad.

at least Ralph is accellerating through the whole thing by putting a 'fourth wall breaker' character to explain everything.

yeah, better budkle up. that's good advice.
I still say the doctor did it....

Fursonally, I'm just concerned about two things:

1. What the tulpas will look like now, and

2. Are they even tulpas anymore?

Remember, the whole "eight living embodiments of your subconscious" thing was part of what the rubber otter defined as a "wallbanger". (Mind you, he miscounted; the pieces of Ben's subconscious were:

Sheldon
Velvet
Morty
Slick
Zoot
Gunther
Epiphany (Piff)

That's seven (7). Number eight was that tulpa left over from the shadow dragon arc.)

As fur Penny being our guide... well, I haven't had Underoos since I was eight, but I'll follow as best I can. Ralph, we probably won't hate you at the end of this... but we might be a bit miffed...

Yours truly,

The wolfish,

Wanderer

Ralph's little comic was perfectly charming up to now, but the shoe has been thrown and the gears are jammed. Eh... I'm adopting a wait-and-see attitude on this one.

I thought Ronald McSatan counted as number 8.

Can't possibly. Rubber Otter said "living in a haunted house arcade with eight embodiments of your subconscious". As Ronald McSatan was destroyed at the end of the Schlock arc, he never appeared in Goblin Hollow, so never "lived in" the haunted house arcade.

Honestly: I know Ralph has effectively laid the groundwork for any number of retcons with his "reboot from disk" in Ben's memory... but I really wish he hadn't tired of the setting and characters he already had. I liked them.

Yours truly,

The wolfish,

Wanderer

P.S.: I didn't dare say anything before, no. Given he and I get along like hydrogen and oxygen in a gaseous state, I was rather worried of prejudicing his opinions against whatever I happened to be in favor of. Silly of me, yes, but now I don't have to worry.

Do I?

I don't recall her ever having hair like that before and she mentions she's had that style for years.

Is this Retcon going all the way back to the very start and changing *everything* from day one?

I didn't realize it was that drastic a change. I had initally thought that the nature of the posse was changing, not basic history.

Well, I recalled that too, but I considered that post-honeymoon night messy hair.

Sadness. Loss. Fear that I've lost a happy strip to read... because I won't forget.

I never liked, or tolerated, 'retro-continuity' in comic books, and find it... well, just the above, here.

Penny's still in the goth stage, which I strangely like better than the "Brittney Spears wannabee" stage.
