The Muppet Show I would guess

PIGS IN SPACE!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes, sir. I agree completely. It takes a well-balanced individual... such as yourself to rule the world. No, sir. No one knows that you were the third one... Solidus. ...What should I do about the woman? Yes sir. I'll keep her under surveillance. Yes. Thank you. Good-bye...... Mr. President.

I thought "Truckers in Space" was part of the point of the movie Alien.

My guess is that the "Haulers" are the equivelent of a Semi Truck and they are out is space so.... "Truckers in Space". :D

If you look carefully at the design, the Hauler looks like the cabs of two big-rigs mated together on the bottom.

See I thought it was a reference to the short story you made up.
Jesus said to her, 'I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?' John 11: 25-26

I thought it was more a play off the old b-movie thing of "x IN SPAAACE" as a title to make it seem more cool.
or i'm waay off.

There's a freight hauler in space, and Mzzkiti's not on it? Can you even DO that???

However, in the spirit of old trucking movies:
(Modified for space)
In-bound and down, eighteen ships we're tow'in,
We're gonna do what they say can't be done!
We've got a target to blow - and a shortcut to get there,
Then we'll see how fast this rig can run!
Avoid those who speak badly of the people, for such wish to rule over you.

S'ok, I've been accused of that and worse.

You could try tying a string on. It'll either improve your memory or keep your head from floating away.

It is interesting that Claude Akins went from being a trucker in "Movin On" to the sheriff in "BJ and the Bear"

Consider yourself fortunate.....Manta and I went to see it one night back in the late 70's at a drive in. Him, me and another dude hit the drive-in after a truely wild party. I'll leave it to your imagination as to what kind of shape we were all in at the time, and we continued to enhance upon during the movie. I will say this, bad as it was, it does hold a fond place in Manta's and my memories because what we can remember of hilarious time we all had that night. And when I say "bad", I mean BAD!!! This flic made "Plan 9 Fron Outer Space" look like a cinematic masterpiece. :ick:
