Does anyone else notice that the collar pin on the CO look a bit like an itty-bitty swastika? (the first pose, with his face away from the camera)

The other poses the pin is different, saying US, but the first pose at that distance and the shape of U and S muddled together as they are make it look different than it really is.
I noticed that too, but I just figgured that it was a slight mistake.

Well, a swastika has four arms not three..... :o :o

Point. I was actually going to say on third examination it looks more like the sort of three leg thing that you see for the Isle of Man. Seen here Image

Actually, what looks rather more distressing is that the officer's head looks like its on backwards. Though I suppose that this could be a visual cue for his hindsight.

well, if you're going to analyze it, I'm not too sure about the perspective on Nip and the vehicle here, and perhaps there could be a bit more contrapasto on the hips, and the foreshortening on the officer of whatever rank and badge looks really really weird, sotra resembles cubist style. The hat is kinda in a 3/4 view, but I see the full back of the head and he's looking upward towards the wall. If anything we should see a near side angle of his face directed towards Nip, or change the entire angle of the shot:

btw, the little watever symbol loops at the bottom of the page, it almost looks like a letter or something, is that what it really should be? Anyway if anyone else wants to make more (or better) observations on this comic, try the age old method of testing the accuaracy of a drawing:
Image
that should make things simpler for you :D

Um, did I step on anything doing this? Although if I did I'd probably be dead already and unable to apoligise anyway. Is no one just up to it at the moment?

Well, I'm not sure if you tried to say "closey" or "close?" with the font you're using.

Another real-world event may have some connection with this comic.
Two days after the New York Times (after being requested by Pres. Bush not to do so) published leaked secret information regarding telephone monitoring: various Arabic Islamic groups in America began buying up "Untracable" disposable cellphones in large quantities.
The first recorded incident of such bulk purchases was in Midland Texas.

A little background info: http://abcnews.go.com/WNT/Investigation ... id=1499905

Such disposable cellphones have also been used to trigger bombs.

This is already public knowledge which operatives of Al Queda have repeatedly used. Otherwise I wouldn't have posted even this much information.

We are in danger, that is a given fact. How we feel about that and how we respond to that is up to us.
Avoid those who speak badly of the people, for such wish to rule over you.

Actually, the little pins on his collar are supposed to be little metal pins shaped like the letters "US." It's a slip of the pen they look like that.
