To explain.. The whole concept of the Purloined Letter was that the aforementionned letter was hidden in plain sight. Now, I won't tell you where.StrangeWulf13 wrote:Refers to an old mystery, I believe. A detective is called in to find a "purloined letter" of the Queen's. Purloined is a fancy way to say "stolen", really. Anyway, the police are unable to find it despite searching the theif's apartment and his person several times. The detective, however, devises a clever plan to steal the letter back. I'm not sure if it's in France or wherever, but the letter was from a Duke or someone, and it would cause a great deal of trouble to the Queen if it was given to the King. So, naturally, someone else finds and steals it.
I won't spoil the story, but I must say it's a nice touch to this.Seeing as how they stole the movie right out from under his oversized nose...

As per where the letter was hidden? I won't raise the mantle of suspicion just yet.

Introducing Denice to Miss Ruth, perhaps?Lou Leghorn wrote:It looks like Nip is getting pretty good at advancing the careers of several pretty young ladies. First, there was Denise, who became Charlie's new agent. Then came Minerva, who finally got that feature story she was looking for.
Now there's Miss Ruth getting promoted from secretary to CEO.
