Good evening.
Yay! I get to start this strip's topic!!
That door isn't going to hold for long. Doesn't anyone know just how AGGRESSIVE hippos are, here AND in RL?
¡Zacatepóngolas!
Until next time, remember:

J.A.M. (a.k.a. Numbuh i: "Just because I'm imaginary doesn't mean I don't exist")
Good evening.

couldn't he simply protest by standing in front of the projector? or am I giving hippos too much credit for intelligence? but yeah, I saw angry hippos from the Kratt Brothers, it was the best episode.

But if he stood out and protested what was happening, he'd be admiting he wasn't in control.
Add on to that the producers would then see his version and have to chosse which version the American public would be ready to embrace. I have more faith in guys who study what people want to see then I have in Gary Busey.
It comes down to marketing.
They might put on ultra liberal views that seem like crap, but hey, the bottom line in buisnes is how much money a studio can rake in with a flick. It is a buissness after all. And that propoganda crap would destroy careers and lose cash.
When faced with a choice between a film that would enrage the public and a film that would get the adverage American's blood pumping while stoaking patriotism, Nips film would be more likely to bring in the box office numbers.
It might be cold, but this is Hollywood. Films that push a personal political agenda may be nice but hell, you gotta make more cash cows to pay for those bombs that, when left on their own, can run a studio into the red.
In the end we ask this: Story vs. Propaganda. I'd rather watch the good story then this director's crap.
