Hmph. Then he's taught me nothing.BlasTech wrote:Pah, its an action flik ... if Arnie has taught us anything its that the best ones consist only of one-liners and lots and lots of explosions 8)
You have to remember who the Director is. He is used to making up dialogue later to support his perverted views.Oh, and if he's filling the whole lead role and not just the stunt parts...
doesn't this movie have lines?
I can hear it now...
"Lines? Dialogue? I knew we forgot something!"
That's assuming they don't do what they did in Arnold's first movie, and just give him fake lines to say and dub the real dialogue (read by another actor) over them...Wayfarer wrote:But eventually he's got to have Nip say the lines, and then Nip can figure out what's going on, and then we can have sabotage.
Why not? It's Friday.SolidusRaccoon wrote:Fried Fox?

You mean that some of his lines in "Conan the Barbarian" were re-dubbed? Seriously? I know he had a pretty thick accent then, was that the reason?LoneWolf23k wrote:That's assuming they don't do what they did in Arnold's first movie, and just give him fake lines to say and dub the real dialogue (read by another actor) over them...Wayfarer wrote:But eventually he's got to have Nip say the lines, and then Nip can figure out what's going on, and then we can have sabotage.
Yes there is and in order to work, Nip had to join......question is, does director Lardbutt know that Nip's a pro with a couple of movies under his belt. I think LB just may be under the impression Nip's just one o' the "not too inbred looking" local yocals to star in his flic.Nikas_Zekeval wrote:Hmm, isn't there a stunt man's union?
If the director gets snippy about Nip wanting to see/plan the stunts ahead of time, things could get interesting for lardbutt.
Malarkey County is probably in a right to work state, so they might not have checked for his union status. (What! Shame on you, Director.Sharuuk wrote:Yes there is and in order to work, Nip had to join......question is, does director Lardbutt know that Nip's a pro with a couple of movies under his belt. There is potential for all manner of chaos and shenannigans here.........!!
S'aaruuk
I was thinking more from the insurance POV. I mean the backers should have some kind of insurance for accidents on set and during shootings, and for the later it is likely the insurance company will insist on a stunt coordinator/stunt men. So that means union guys. Get the stuntman's union POed, and suddenly you can't hire ANY professionals, and the union might be POed enough to let the insurer know the movie's been blackballed...Roberto the Dane wrote:Malarkey County is probably in a right to work state, so they might not have checked for his union status. S'aaruuk) However, Nip must have given his resume or put his experience on the application form.
