Broken Ego:

And training doesn't prevent injuries, it just minimizes their likelihood and/or severity :(

this is nip we're talking about now right?

I mean his dad supported the idea of him going into stunt-man's-school because, as he said: he's been getting himself blown up his whole life, might as well get paid to do it.

I'm not too sure he would be in a mentally fit enough state to avoid much injury. (moving too fast between scenes and already neing tired and fatigued from the previous one can slow your reflexes.)

And that's not counting the fact that the chick didn't pull her punch.

I gots a slight "technical" query here.......Has Nip been shown ANY of the fight scenes and had ANY chance to reherse and/or choreograph the scene? Doesn't sound like it to me and with his background and training, Nip should be wondering the same thing.

Wait'll y'all try this new batch of BBQ sauce I just mixed up! :D

And NO....it's NOT a "rip out the lining of your mouth, stomach and colon" type of spicy. I like my sauces with a little zing, but after a point there's no flavor, just hot.......that ain't what makes a good sauce.

Of course I DO have some "hot sauce" out in the shed I'd like to baste our director with.....it's called 'napalm'.

no! no! that guy's fat, lazy and eats too much

ie. no meat on him just fat
and cholesterol city, he'd do much better providing the oil for the fire then the meat we cook on it.

Bleah. The director's probably toxic. But yeah, he's just pushing for speed. Nip's trying to get some downtime to set up the scenes and the guy is just throwing stuff at him. Training isn't going to help him if the fathead won't give him a chance to -use- it. At this point, even -legally- he deserves what we're hoping Nip is going to give him. 8)

Wow, I hate this movie almost as much as its director, and it's only been two seconds into production, here.

Or dump the carcass into a small fusion furnace....that level of heat should sterilize the resultant vapor.

Oh, please. Let's see, there's talk about napalm, small tactical nuclear weapons, fusion furnaces, and fire storms, and you think I'm going to be concerned about matchbooks and penlighters (unless those are supposed to be the matchbooks and penlighters, in which case... never mind, not considering that case)? My A(M)F efforts may be futile, but I know better than that! :P

But no, the A(M)F and I have discussed the matter, and we've decided to ignore the presence of flammable objects in this thread for the time being. It's all about choosing one's battles, you know. And, yeah... we don't choose this battle.

(Besides, the destruction discussed here is concentrated on a very localized target, and such being the case, we're not so sure the situation even falls within A(M)F objectives.)

So, yeah, not presenting any protests against flammable discussions here - at least for now. :D
