Hmmm....I wonder if this is a thinly disguised poke at Michael Moore?

Poke harder. Maybe he'll deflate.

When I read the strip that's who I thought of first. My Only hope was that Nip had not used all his explosives now that he has a good use for them. :)

Ole' Mickey the Hutt? Ya think?

Yeah, Mikey the Hutt was my first thought, too. And the flying sandwich at the end agrees with that assessment.

Whatcha think? Will he turn out to be a pig, or will Ralph branch out and give us the first invertebrate character in this world? Mikey's certainly slimy enough to be depicted as a giant slug...

*nods and holds nose* That's one balloon I wouldn't mind being popped.

One thing though. I thought Al Franken was the one who put most of the hot air in Air Amerika?

my first thought was "typical overrated hollywood official type person who thinks he should own the world"

that it could have any reference to anyone specific never crossed my mind.

Ack, as much as I dislike the little hornet nest beater, I don't think I can stand another political rant story line so soon.

Then again, on the other paw, what Moore does can be done (and probably has been done) by folks from all over the political map. So....yeah I think I'd like to stick around and watch the mayham. As long as I keep it in my mind its being done more because of what this (suspected, we have no evidense yet but this IS Mr. Hayes) Moore-like charcter because of what he is and does rather than political affliation.

(Excuse me if that didn't make sense up there. I"m sick and not in my exact frame of mind right now)

Even WITHOUT politics, there are plenty of stories around of how the "little hornet nest beater" is personally obnoxious times 100.
Times 1000. Times (add your own number). If ever there was a subject worth being 'tooned, lampooned, Alice-the-Goon'ed, and harpooned, he's IT.

I can't say that I care for Michael Moore either, but you can't fault his marketing instincts. He saw that a sizable and wealthy portion of a large political party was running on sheer screaming, unthinking hate, so he put together a movie catering to the mob's appetite. His inspiration was probably a desire to vent his own spleen rather than any reasoned choice, but it certainly worked out for him. He's wealthier and fatter than ever, and he could fart in a crowded elevator and receive applause.

All said and done though, I'd be happier to have the upcoming comic based on some other Hollywood tyrant. I'm just plain sick and tired of Michael Moore.

He apprently once through a little tantrum over a book titled "Michael Moore is a Big, Stupid, White Male" the title lampooning a book of his. He took the writers to court, not over the title mind you, but because he belived the contents of the book were slander. If these facts and such that are given in the book are indeed false, then that means theyr just using the same tactic that Moore himself does. Which is alter quotes, numbers, and timelines. This is of course assuming its false.

I believe his case was tossed out due pretty much to everything stated in the book is documented and provable to be true. Also, as seems to be true to form with hard lefties, HE has the right to say anything true or false about anyone he chooses and go unchallenged. BUT, when some "right wing wack-o" writes something true and unflattering about HIM....WELL......that MUST be challenged in the only arena that liberals have any hope of succeeding...the courts.....and in this case, the charges against the author, as usual, were for telling the truth.

Case closed....(to the best of my knowledge)

I will only say one thing about Moore--if his works are intended as satire, then he is brilliant. If he's serious, then it's quite possibly he is the second-stupidest person in the US (right behind bats*** insane attourney Jack Thompson.[/url]

If his works are, in fact, satire, then he hoodwinked the Academy into giving him an Oscar under false presenses.

I really couldn't care less what that bunch of self-serving, self-congratulatory hacks thinks about anyone or anything to be honest with you. The Oscars are little more than a media circus wherein a bunch of know-it-all, holier than thou jerkwads with more dollars than sense all gather in a big building in the most opulent and disgusting city in America to tell each other what a great job they're doing, dumping tired sequel after boring rehash after asinine action blockbuster on the unsuspecting and desensitized public.

I really don't like Hollywood.

I've been known for a lot of things. Political correctness has never been one of them. I don't tell people what they want to hear--I tell people what they NEED to hear--and very seldom are those two things the same.

Nice to be here.

...I should qualify my previous statement. There are cases where discretion is the better part of valor. I make it a policy to never insult the people who handle my food--mainly because you never know just what they're going to DO to it if you piss them off. (Both brothers worked fast food for years, and the things they said they did to people that pissed them off...)
