Yes, sir. I agree completely. It takes a well-balanced individual... such as yourself to rule the world. No, sir. No one knows that you were the third one... Solidus. ...What should I do about the woman? Yes sir. I'll keep her under surveillance. Yes. Thank you. Good-bye...... Mr. President.

Solidus' motto:

"There is no problem in the known universe that connot be solved by the suitable application of a modest high yield nuclear device."

*gives 'thumbs-up' sign in agreement*

Aw but that takes all the fun of hunting them down at night.

So? Stretch out the range.....you'd be surprised how difficult it is to hit a softly glowing, self-illuminated target at night at around 300yds.

Don't believe me? Take a few glow-sticks out to the range at night and set them up at 100, 150, 200, 250, & 300yds. Even with a good scope, you're gonna have a hard time nailing them. Not bragging here, but I'm an excellent shot with a rifle I'd built and it took me 2 tries to hit the 200yd, 3 tries for the 250yd and 5 tries to hit the one at 300yds.....I was somewhat gratified that the other shooters took more, and one of my friends never did hit it in 20 shots.

No worry Sol.....you'll still have some sport.

Wouldn't it still take a little of the "ooh" factor out of lighting up the night with incendiaries and clusters? (Although, I think one of those has been banned from use?)

Neither has been banned, and the only problem with lighting up the sky is that when the illums go out and darkness returns, your own natural night vision is slightly screwed for several minutes. Besides, Murphy's Law about tracers working both ways.....under high output illums, if you can see the enemy.....chances are, he can see you as well.

Nah....give me a good Gen III or Gen IV night scope on good rifle and a dark night, or self illuminating targets.....either way, it's gonna be a turkey shoot.

Once the incendiaries take effect, the targets are self-illuminating. (In fact, I guess it's not that much different than a nuke. . .except for the radiation.)

By "incendiaries", are you talking about Napalm, or incendiary ammo?

I was thinking of incendiary bombs, actually. Would that be Napalm?

There are several kinds of incendaries, but Napalm (Naphthelene and Palm-oil) is the easiest to both make an deploy.

The are "spray" types that ignite on impace and spray burning magnesium and white phosforous in about a 50ft diameter area.
