"conservatives prepared for war while liberals prepared lawsuits and therapy for our enemies." That's a bit paraphrased but it's nearly verbatim, and the libs are screaming that he slandered DEMOCRATS when in reality he NEVER even said the word "Democrat" only "LIBERALS". And now they're screeching for his head, that he should be fired etc......but how quiet the screams are over Dick (Turban) Durbin's comments comparing our troops to the Nazis and Stalinists, and Pol Pots of some of the most murderous regimes known to modern man.

All I've done, to my knowledge, is correct you on some of your more strident comments, the most recent one being the situation in the Senate with the fillibusters......I went back and re-read my post and nowhere do I attack you as you seem to believe. Maybe in his eyes you are.....and maybe in the eyes of some of the others here as well.....but in some of your responses, you tend to take an answer to the most extreme direction you can......for instance if I say that I agree that we should start drilling in ANWR and off the coast of Florida to try and alleviate some of our dependence on forign oil, you would take that as validation to your charge that "conservatives in general don't give a crap about the environment".....I could make the exact same charge about "liberals in general don't give a crap about national security or winning the war in Iraq....otherwise they wouldn't be doing everything possible to undermine the effort."
