[...unWARP!!!]

Good evening.

So that's it? The villains got away scot free?

Was the first strip supposed to be posted today? It doesn't seem to fit in with the storyline. Or are you rubbing it in, Ralph? ;)

I might be wrong, but that first strip looks like someone else "ghosted" it. It just doesn't quite seem like RHJr style, 100%
That, and I remember some while back that someone volunteered to do some "guest" strips.

Not only do we get an update, not only do we get a big update, but we get a great update.

Let's all make a mad dash to the tip jar.

1)The first strip IS my work. It's the first strip made with my new Wacom Tablet.... pure computer work from start to finish. As you can tell, I'm still on the learning curve, and it'll be a while before I'm completely back up to par--- and there'll probably be some inevitable style changes.

2)That was the point of this last strip: sometimes the bad guys DO get off scot-free. In fact that's the way it generally plays out in real life. But she didn't get talked into or tricked into degrading herself, and she didn't get taken for a bundle of cash... so she came out better than 99% of the people who run into confidence men.

It was also an attempt to say something about the attitude of people in society about con artists and their victims. We'd never hold a 5 foot tall accountant up to ridicule for losing a basketball game to Micheal Jordan and Shaquille O'Neil.... yet we mock honest people for being gulled and scammed by con men who literally eat, sleep and breathe deception. Half the reason con artists keep doing what they do is because they can count on their victims being too ashamed to report it--- and on the rest of the sheep to be smug enough to think THEY'D never fall for such a scam....

Aw, Nip won't be in any trouble... unless Tuck turns to Pa Todd for help. O.o
