I believe that I also mentioned an EMP field which would disrupt most things trying to use something as unblockable as plasma, though I admit, the more you come up with something invulnerable, the more someone else will come up with a weapon to make it vulnerable, we all gotta sleep sometime...
I still say the doctor did it....
