The tail between the legs bit adds a lot.
I don't know what she is worried about though... as a Christian male I find myself having to direct my imagination away from imagining what she might look like is she complied with the directives of the others. Not that there is anything wrong with that, but she ain't my wife (ignoring the fact that she ain't even real as a comparative irrelevancy) so I ain't got no business going there.

Heck, Thelma is just a fantasy creation, nothing "dirty" about it.

Seems slightly incongruous. Thelma went from floor length dresses to Daisy Duke shorts and tied off shirts in front of guys without getting that flustered. And she must have had to undress in front of other girls in gym class. Is it modesty that much or is she afraid the other girls will laugh at her?

Or maybe that silky thing is just extra naughty...

...And, of course, now I can't help but imagine that lingerie party in my dirty, sinful mind... Oh well, might as well enjoy myself. *Closes his eyes and keeps imagining*

Yes, but Daisy Dukes and tied-off shirts generally aren't made of see-through nylon and lace. As revealing as that kind of outfit might be, it will still do a good job of concealing the... er... "essentials" behind a couple of layers of opaque, fairly substantial cloth...

And she must have had to undress in front of other girls in gym class.

Dressing and undressing in a locker room isn't quite the same as dressing up in filmy lingerie during a rowdy sleepover, though. (And believe me, any girl who shows up to gym class wearing filmy Victoria's Secret underwear is going to get snickered at by her classmates...)

That's entirely possible as well... Thelma probably still has a few lingering twinges of her old "ugly duckling" self-image to deal with at times; that sort of thing doesn't go away overnight.

...And, of course, now I can't help but imagine that lingerie party in my dirty, sinful mind...

...alas, imaginings are all we're likely to have, since I rather doubt Ralph will draw it. (Although trying to imagine Zelda in lingerie is interesting to contemplate, as an engineering challenge if nothing else -- how would you design lingerie that could be worn by a porcupine without being ripped to shreds the first time she tried to put it on?)

Two words: Chain Mail.

Putting it on would be no problem, her quills would lay flat. Taking it off however would be the challenge!

As for chain mail, same scenerio only worse.....now the quills would be wedged in between the links and loops of mail and still be sticking out at all angles.

I've played with porcupines before. You can easily and safely stroke them from head to tail no gloves required....and if you're carefull, you can even scritch their ears and neck...just don't try to stroke it from tail foreward!

Like I asked earlier, does anybody remember a movie called "Nightbreed"?

I didn't say that chain mail would be comfortable, just that chain mail would be durable.

Why, yes. Suffice to say that even though she had overalls, Tuck seemed a bit....surprised.

I wonder if Ralph didn't put that pic on Yerf because it might have been rejected...

Actually, that Thelma-in-overalls pic is on the 2002 SuperCD and the UberCD, as well... and there's several pinups on those discs which aren't on Ralph's Yerf pages, either. On the other paw, Thelma in an itsy-bitsy teeny-weeny yellow polka-dot bikini is up there, and it shows more fur than the overalls pic does... so more likely, Ralph just either hasn't gotten around to uploading them all, or wants to keep some of them as CD exclusives so as not to give away the store.

And no, I wouldn't want to see Ralph draw anything really naughty with the lingerie-party strips (not that I think he would), but there's just something so gosh-darn endearing about the way Thelma blushes when she's caught in a skimpy outfit. 8) (See the bikini pic referenced above...)

And you've got to wonder what Thelma's intentions were

Now now, Thelma, there's no need to be nervous. After all, it's not like you're going to be seen on the Internet or anything.

Having now actually seen what I dared not imagine, I find that what Ben's version is much kinder to my morals than what mine would have been. I knew he was not going to do anything to cause me real trouble, and in fact, my working theory was that the strip with Thelma in the bathroom was going to be the only strip on the subject of that portion of the festivities.
As it turns out the lack of resolution/size as well as the black and white factor make this something that I can reasonably safely read (NOT stare at safely at all, but read, yes).
