Acting human?

Good evening.

I can't believe it's been nearly two years since the strip was posted, but looking back through the archives, I noticed a little phrase <a href="http://nipandtuck.keenspace.com/d/20021 ... l">here</a>.

I wonder what Nip meant by "acting human". So ARE there humans in this universe?

I'm thinking that saying 'human' is their term for themselves. We know them as Furries, but they know themselves as Human. There's been no outright evidence in the comics of us existing in this series.
