There is a show on cable in which they do exactly what the Todd's are doing, namely, planning and executing a wedding in five days.
The parallel is so obvious, I must conclude that RHJ has been watching it.
Am I correct?

Actually--- no.
Don't even watch broadcast TV anymore...
But right now there's so many redecorate/renovate/"new you in a week" shows out there, it's hardly a wild speculation that they'd have a "wedding planner" show too.

Not watching TV sounds like a wise move. I work at a TV broadcast station and occasionally feel like the mechanic who works on the moonshiner's car... Not actually doing anything wrong, but close enough to feel uncomfortable.
This wedding effort should be fun though - I'd guess step one has already been done: informing everybody in the county that there's a wedding coming up! Next step is asking everybody to chip in and help. Hmmm...Whoever set up the Harvest Festival might be a good one to see.
