And thanks for remembering us, even Christmas Eve... now get back to your family!

He could be like me, having no family within 100 miles and required by work to stay where he is over Christmas. But for Ralph's sake, I hope he's not. Being alone on Christmas doesn't just bite, it munches.

Atually, I opted for solitude this christmas. Decided I wasn't up to traveling with family to visit family, or staying for 2-3 days at my grandparent's place-- and not knowing when I'd get back home... and I have more than enough things here that desperately needed doing on my days off. I am feeling a little guilty for passing on the family togetherness, but all parties involved will survive my spending the holidays like a hermit for just once.

Hermit? Not if you've gone online!

It's somehow different when it's by your own choice. I'm expecting to get New Year's Day free, so I'll make up for lost time then. I hope the drunk drivers aren't too plentiful!

If you spend too much time living like a hermit, you might start seeing UFO's...

Or, you might start wearing coarse brown wool robes, take a pumice stone to make a small bald spot on the top of your head, and then go out with robin hood to help the poor by stealing from the... er... yeah. :o Hermitage is bad for you.
