New here, love the comic

Post by Loxley »

I just found Nip and Tuck today. Vince Suzukawa and TK Dye are crossing over their strips (and throwing the Pawpets in as cameos), which caused me to see how things were going over on pawpets.org, and they had a link to your story of when the pawpets came to Malarky county...

I've gotta read the archives now. :)

One thing I especially like is how "true" your setting rings. I've lived in and around rural Mississippi, Alabama, Arkansas, and Tennessee my whole life. :) It's great to see country folks being portrayed in a realistic light. :)

Aw, and what's wrong with the Hollywood projected stereo-type that rural folk are red-necked, gun-totin', moon-shinin', xenophopic, bible-thumpin', inbred, uneducated, backwards luddites whom practice incest, bigomy and loose sex whenever a Johnny-come-lately wanders into their neck o' the woods? (He asked him knowingly). Image

Anyways, welcome to the forum. Hi, hi! Knice to have another CMer among the forumites. And "yes" we love questions and comments so don't be shy about posting something up.
