Seasick Tuck

He doesn't look too enthused, poor guy.
It does not take a majority to prevail ... but rather an irate, tireless minority, keen on setting brushfires of freedom in the minds of men. - attributed to Samuel Adams

“To preserve liberty, it is essential that the whole body of the people always possess arms and be taught alike, especially when young, how to use them.” - Richard Henry Lee

Oh yeah, I've been there. I once went whale watching up in Boston on a day with six foot waves. Do you have any idea what it's like having the deck literally drop away underneath your feet? I fell down so many times it wasn't even funny. It was more like the deck rushed up and smacked me in the face. To say I was seasick would be an understatement.

Heh, the name of the cruise reminds me of B-Fest, an event held up in Chicago that my brother's crazy about. They show horrible movies all night long like "Hot Rods to Hell," "The Incredible Melting Man," "Solarbabies," "Ice Pirates," and "Can Hieronymus Merkin Ever Forget Mercy Humppe and Find True Happiness?"
There is something to be said for competent silence.

Perhaps but there is a differance from being on a comparitivly still pond to even a mostly calm sea.

bingo
Yes, sir. I agree completely. It takes a well-balanced individual... such as yourself to rule the world. No, sir. No one knows that you were the third one... Solidus. ...What should I do about the woman? Yes sir. I'll keep her under surveillance. Yes. Thank you. Good-bye...... Mr. President.

there is a big difference between a lake, river or pond. I always thought I would never get seasick until we went out on a small boat (36' compared to the usual 45' to 49') on a rough day at Westport WA. I had been out before and never had a problem but that day was something else. I still fished thoroughout the day but it was a very long day that day. Tuck reminds me of another trip when it wasn't even that bad. My brother-in-law and I went into the cabin and started making Tunafish sandwichs in front of a guy who within a short time was out chumming over the side. :(

Are you sure he's not advertising Buick automobiles?

I'm surprised at who Nip's "date" is.

You know, they kinda make a cute couple. :D
