If I'm figuring wrong, though, I'll just do what I can to catch up.

Basically there needs to be a minimum/maximum schedule set.Spacewolfomega wrote:Well, I don't know much about RP threads, but it seems that the problem is that some of us are going to be able to post more than others, so... I don't know how you fix that, but I don't want those who can't post as much to always feel like they're being left behind.
Should we suggest a certain number of posts per day or maybe a limit on how much action a post can contain? I don't know... I defer to someone with more posting experience than me.
How do other RP's deal with this situation? I'd rather not have constant retconning because that can really get confusing.
I have no problems with that. Do to certain situations at the moment, I might be able to post a lot on certain days, but on other days I'll be out of the loop for an extended period. If/when that happens I'll give everybody the heads-up so they can know to ignore me.Earl McClaw wrote:Basically there needs to be a minimum/maximum schedule set.
Some RPs do it by asking participants to not post until everyone's had a turn. (Lowest Common Denominator method.)
Some then add a rule that you have a limited amount of time (like 24 hours or so) to post before you can be considered to have "missed".
A few settle into something like a chat, where the fast posters hold one conversation, slow posters another.
My girlfriend LOVES that movie!Wayfarer wrote:She smirks to herself as she mentally superimposes a picture of her curled-up form over the image of a young lady in a very fancy dress throwing a rather undignified fit. The smirk grows as she runs the rest of the scene through her mind.
Good heavens, child, are you all right?
