Joe Strummer, main engine of The Clash, died Sunday of a heart attack at the age of 50.

The Clash is one of my favorite bands, giving rock a much-needed conscience and conciousness, and I was very much looking forward to seeing them play at the Rock'n'roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony. He will be severely missed.
