A nice (if short) story. Decent plot, good character development, very evocative of the period. You made me care about the characters. Keep 'em coming!<P>------------------

Thanks, Beers! Character development is one of the hardest parts of writing, drama or comedy, prose or comics; when readers connect with them... SCORE! It's always a big boost to the creative juices to hear that!<P>And if you think it's short, it's actually not as short as it was supposed to be. The contest it was submitted for had a limit about one-third what it finally turned out to be. <IMG SRC="http://www.keenspace.com/forums/biggrin.gif">
