Sheesh!
I leave her in charge for two days, and look what happens. You know, when she gets excited she starts throwing, um.... stuff.
Anyway, I got some presents fer yunz, since I took my sketchbook along on my trip. Two nights in a hotel in Carlisle, PA isn't exactly heaven, y'know.

This first one's been percolating around my head for awhile; I'm trying to work it out to draw a real picture. It's partly inspired by Damonk's fanpic of Portia, and partly by Kimberly of "Unlike Minerva." I like the larger one better, but I think Portia's eyes are too small for her head. Or maybe her head is too big for the rest of her. The braid works better in the upper-right one, but I think her head is too far forward to be realistic. I also screwed up her hands in that one.
Here's the second:

It's a few working sketches for upcoming events, and I'll leave it at that.
Well, whaddaya think?
And don't say I went on a trip and never brought you anything!
[This message has been edited by Matt Trepal (edited 03-29-2001).]

Oooooh, pictures.
I like.
The dragon in particular is spiffy, at least to me. Does "upcoming events" mean the crossover? (Which is also spiffy btw - see now someone's said so on your board too!) I like seeing artists' sketches and general "in process" stuff for their strips, it's sort of like getting into their heads a little bit (but not too much, that would just be scary.:-))
~ Falen

Glad you like 'em, Falen. No, the events upcoming are after the crossover, so if you want to see the dragon again (or however she actually turns out), you'll have to stick around. Which, of course, you're perfectly welcome to do!

I thought you'd like that one, Damonk.
And I do plan on drawing it, I've just got to get lots of other stuff out of the way, first.
