So, change the deadline. Simple enough. ;-) It's not like we're going to hunt him down and skin him alive if he doesn't draw a strip three or four times a week. At least, I'm not going to.
Of course, if he draws any more strips like this one ... *low rumble* (Sorry. The guy's face really got to me.)
[This message has been edited by aglauros (edited 04-11-2001).]

Nobody is talking here. *nose twitch* So I might as well.
I appreciate that you're busy, Mike, but ... my vote is, quality before quantity. I have great patience when it comes to comic strips, and today's strip just doesn't compare to yesterday's. Please, please, please take your time and do a good job. We'll pimp Parthenos for ya during the tough times. *grin* Or maybe even do fan art to fill in the gaps *thinks Acid Reflux for some odd reason ;-) * ... anyone capable? *wondering about her own meager skills*
Anyway. Just a thought. Later.

The classic Nintendo slogan "Quality over quantity"
Yea, this is definetly the way to go in matters of art. Why do you think so much crap gets pushed out the door in hollywood?
Then again, mike IS a techie, and those people worship deadlines like deities

I find webcomic readers are forgiving people, if you need to cut back, rearrange the schedule or take time off they'll understand. Just let us know you're alive while on hiatus, that's all I ask.

Yeah. It's tricky, though: I find if I go too slowly (in terms of strips per unit time) I start getting impatient, and things don't start going slower, they start getting grainier (or something), with more trying to happen in each strip and important stuff getting lost.
So--I dunno. I need to find someplace to compromise, I think; or at least find places that'll be able to give if necessary--work's been really pretty relaxed since I started the comic, with me working weekends and (early) evenings only when there was something I really wanted to do. But there will be crunch times in the future, and it'd be nice to be ready for it in advance.
A ha ha ha ha! Such denial.
mike
