Dude, the temptation is always there. I've been able to resist successfully so far, but...giant robot battle!
As for Orestes: he's heading homeish. It's one of the things that always bothered me: who is taking care of things at home in his absence? Since he splits pretty much right after the murder, pursued by furies.
Although: if Electra had a gundam... <IMG SRC="

Where does Orestes actually think he's going? I mean, the Furies are no longer chasing him, and as far as the myths go, the only person from the royal family left alive back home is Electra. I can't really see her picking up ruling where Clytaemnestra left off...
Then again, either Orestes has a great line in irony, or he's not that bright...
Personally,I reckon he's not the fastest athlete on the track.

Orestes is going home? Didn't he go to Asia Minor for a while and some tribe drives him crazy? I'm not making this up, I'm just too lazy to verify my suspicions right now.
Mike I can deal with a Gundam, but please no magical Penelopes in Parthenos. <IMG SRC="

Ulysses is the brains of this operation. Always is.
And with Ares' look, I think we're seeing an anime influence seeping in. It's fine, as long as Hephestus doesn't go and build Penelope a Gundam <IMG SRC="

I remember something like that, too. Doesn't it involve his sister, if she'd been spirited away by Artemis instead of being sacrificed?
'Cuz he also marries Menelaus's daughter (Hermione?) and either before or after kills Neoptolemus over her, or maybe over some impiety of Neoptolemus's?
So now'd be after the first (I guess, if it's not optional enough) and before the second.
mike
