In the pissing contest between Max and Genjiro, I give Max the best chance of winning a straight fight (though not the popularity contest...) based on EXPERIENCE. It doesn't really matter how much TRAINING one has, if it's all classroom/dojo stuff, (Age and Treachery beats youth and training every time.) On the other hand, getting into a fight with an Intel "Weenie" can have career killing effects for Max, particularly if it's over a woman, so... Max CAN'T throw down with Gen-chan, or risk loss of flight pay, flight status, Rank, etc. On the Gripping hand, Genjiro's in the O.R., fibrillating, with between two and eight ounces of jacketed heavy metal rattling around in his lungs, while he's leaking blood out of several holes in his body- a condition known as "Gonna die if you don't hang on with every scrap of will while the docs try to put you together."- which makes all of the above a moot point.

I am NOT going to die!!! And Max might be bigger and stronger than me, but when I'm in my normal state, I'm too fast to catch. Also, fast styles are best for EVADING, as in, a Defensive posture. What happens if he doesn't Start it? I don't suppose his Royal Highnessness has noticed that, in addtion to Aerospace forces of Exedra, as typified by Max and the boys standing defense, there's a Terran Shogunate battlegroup with 15,000 Marines from the Amerik worlds, and all their equipment, inbound on his flank to relieve the seige???
As a representative of the TCE, I would suggest to his Highnessness Mirober, that he depart, with tail between legs, prior to their arrival, as they won't stop at driving him out of Exedran space, but, instead, will pursue him back to the hole from which he came, with little concern for HIS civilian populace... (what little concern, of course, coming from the Fleet Officers of the Shogunate, who personally dread civvie casualties...) otherwise, En-Garde!!!

The 5th Imperial Fleet is already inbound, with full wartime loads installed and fighters pre-prepped, and will probably arrive a little under an hour before the Shogunate forces.Emporer Mir, your ducks are now soup.------------------
