Hey! I have a katana, and a wakizashi, too. My father gave them to me on my 18th birthday. They've been in our family for ages. Is it bad luck to get a weapon as a gift?!? That explains a lot...I would have trusted my wife with a sword. I don't think she'd have killed me with it, even if she was really mad at me (like she was, a lot of the time...sigh...but we all know I'm an idiot, right?!).
