For the record, lettuce heads are not easily carried into public places (such as theaters, clubs, etc.) Rather impractical. Tomatoes are somewhat smaller, and might be hid in one's pockets, but one must be careful how much pressure one places on the back and sides when reclining. Now, carrot sticks are much more practical, in as much as they can be placed within a ziplock bag and easily concealed, but would probably be much more difficult to aim.

Didn't see that one coming, though. True, throwing food at performers was more in style at, say, the Globe Theatre than it is nowadays. Chris'd more likely be pegged with a beer bottle than a tomato. But, hey, anachronisms are fun.
I see somebody's never tried sneaking food into a movie theater before. As for the lettuce heads, let's just say the club got a lot of women pretending to be pregnant. Some guys too, but they were kicked out pretty quickly. Well, tomatoes would splatter on impact, and lettuce would just bounce off, but carrot sticks? I can see the headlines now:
Performer Impaled By Carrots
Last Words: "I eat enough of these, I should've seen it coming."
CJ

Actually, I've smuggled carrot sticks into movie theaters before. Noticed you now have a different, somewhat louder shade of green as the background on your main page (as well as adding a link to the forum.) We'll see if the link increases your traffic. If not, I may try to create the illusion of a semi-active forum with the occasional rambling treatise, when and if time allows.
My sister was employed as a telemarketer for awhile, incidentally, and while it was not as bad as some say, it was far from an unmixedly pleasant experience, and she much prefers running her own daycare center.
And in case you haven't already left, may you have a safe trip and a pleasant Christmas, Mr. Garver.
