Anyone else find the concept of plague rats still linked with Magic: The Gathering? It's one of the few good concepts.
------------------

Plague rats indeed entered my friends' jargon due to MTG long ago. Then for some reason plague rats caught on big at the go congress last week. Go figure.
BTW the nifty noncollectible WOTC card game Guillotine (where each player is an executioner in the French Revolution, competing to collect the best heads) has Palace Guards which work kind of like Plague Rats, so that when explaining the rules it's usually sufficient to say "Palace Guards are plague rats".
------------------
