Shucks... yer making me blush.<P>You know that scene where Sol and his partner go into the bookie's place and the fat guy has to get them out? I was watching "When Stupid People Attack" (or something to that effect) on Fox last week and the exact thing happened. Security doors coming down protecting the teller, everything. Only it was some little old lady that came in at the end.<P>And they had the exploding whale clip! Nothing beats the exploding whale clip!<P>Next movie that I recomend is Momento. Haven't seen it yet, but I've heard very good things about it. Trailer (http://www.apple.com/trailers/independent/memento.html) and webpage (http://www.otnemom.com/) are cool.<P>Oh, and the mom from Requiem for a Dream is up for an Oscar.<P>I'm Cap'n Pete and this has been your movie minute.<P>------------------

I saw the foreign film Lies last night, just 'cause how can I resist arty kinky smut from Korea based on a novel by a guy who was imprisoned for the novel being obscene?<P>It was interesting but too slow. They did a curious thing of having a handful of documentary-style scenes of the 2 main actors talking about their roles and the film interspersed with the actual fictional story. It said it was a first movie role for both of them; they did well. But I wouldn't recommend it unless you're definitely in the mood for arty kinky smut from Korea.<P><P>------------------
