Hardware help wanted:)

Hey, I need your help! As you may know, I had a bit of an accident which broke my scanner - or at least, the controller card - or at least, that's what it looks like. But it may well be that the card is all right, and all that needs to be replaced is the cable, which is badly beaten up. Unfortunately, you can't get those cables anymore. If anyone has one of them lying around that they don't need, could you send one to me?The cable, which came with a Trust Imagery 4800 Economy scanner is a common computer cable ending in a male and a female plug with 26 pins/holes - lined up 8-9-9. There is some info stamped on the cable itself but I don't know what, if anything, of that is relevant. In any case, it says: (Inverse-R)U AWM E89980 SUNF PU STYLE 20276 80(degree) C 30V VW-1 28 AWG, and the whole thing is pretty much in one piece - impossible to take apart so I won't be able just to work with just the male plug (the part that's damaged)------------------

Anyway - I might have taken a look at the cable last time; then again, since I don't have any loose cables hanging around the house, it probably wouldn't have done a lot of good
