I'm approaching the end of the dragon story sometime in October. Between then and the next Guest Fortnight, I would like at least to run an old dragon-related story as a footnote. I haven't done a 12-day footnote strip yet so that would be a fitting conclusion to yet another overlong story
I also have one or two other footnotables but I can't remember what they were! It could easily add up to a third week. Maybe I should put it to you
1. those of you who haven't got the older books: what would you like to see explained?
2. those of you who do have the books: what do you think I should show to the readers to add depth to the story and impress them with how well it all fits together?
I'll do one about the sea creatures that Capn mentioned although by the end of the story, the thing should be self-explanatory. And one about Gnomes. Yay Gnomes.
------------------

The next few weeks..
although I'm not exactly sure what a footnotable story is and I'm just a little bit inebriated at this point in time, I'd just like to say that one of my favorite parts from the books would be the time Kel went to Atra's witches sabbath in the "steen des opstoots." The "invisible frog" joke is just so funny
[This message has been edited by capn (edited 09-17-2001).]

I'm afraid I still haven't bought the books, which I really should do.
Thanks for reminding me of that joke. And that I should buy the books.
------------------

I now know a little more. The story will end on October 11. We'll have archive material until at least October 26, and the guest fourtnight after that. I think I'll be able to schedule in a vacation!
------------------
