Well, the idea was this: instead of just having my pals as the voices in a hypothetical ROCR musical, I'd been thinking about who I would like to play the characters. The rules would be that they would have to be singers and musicians, and because singers and musicians can't act as a rule, they'd have to be typecast: the right age, look, basic voice and general first impression.<P>What we had come up with, but which still left lots of room for improvement:<P>Kel: Jenny Wilhelms (singer of Gjallarhorn)
Jodoque: ??
Tamlin: Tom Jones or Ian Gillan
Ragnarok: Candice Night (singer of Blackmore's Night), but she's really too young and too sweet-voiced
Atra: Norma Watterson or Melanie Safka
Jake the Gnome: Ian Anderson
Duchess Gudrun: Kate Bush minus lots of chocolate, or Bjørk
Duke Henry: ??
King Groy: ??
Krakatoa: ??
