This is an idea for a "Floor" story I came up with. I like playing with language, so I'm going to do that in "Floor" if I can get away with it. I think the kids will enjoy it ass they would a funny little puzzle - let's hope the Hello You editors agree.<P>It will need some tweaking, though because it's all about SMS, which I've never used (I don't even have a mobile phone). So if some of you who do could check this for things that are obviously impossible in SMS...

Nokia phones has the @ symbol. We (Filipinos) love to use SMS (we call it "texting"). But personally, I key in the words whole instead of abbreviating it. And in the case of the later nokia models with predictive messages, it is easier to type in the words whole. <IMG SRC="http://www.keenspace.com/forums/smile.gif">

OK.. i've got Verizon's Kyocera (brand name) phone.. it has text incoming and outgoing.. about 120 characters (give or take) <P>they even have a list of "shorthand to use while e-mailing or texting as geejay says. It can also use "T9" a type of brain that anticipates what you want to write.<P>you set it up to send an email, by either using a real email address, (SteeleSnoop@aol.com) or the "e-mail address for another phone .. (Reinder use above addy if you want to know how that is written.)
I'd give it out but since i get 100 messages for free and then i have to pay for any more per month... so PFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFTTTTTTTTTTT (my raspberry), and it is my regular cell phone number.... so....... maybe later...LOL<P>once you send it , it is like sending an e-mail and when they reply to you, it is like reciec=ving and email, either form someone using their phone or someone using a computer... <P>I personally love it.. make things a lot easier.. especially being able to get and send email while at work and the bosses can't complain cuz it isn't on their puters....<P>
