Steverino!'s new direction

As a regular on the board...
It's a shame you've decided to ditch the photos, but I can understand why. Considering that producing the strip with them must, all told, take roundabout 6 hours at best, not to mentione the work and effort involved... stack that on top of this not being a paying venture... it's an understandable choice. You're sacrificing a minor feature of the strip in order to make it better overall, which is a good plan. It was an exellent idea that just didn't quite work out as well as you had hoped. C'est la vie. I can understand how you might be worried that it would distract from the actual strip itself, too. Some of the better strips (the Gap commercial, the "Elaine Can't Sleep" storyline) used little to no photo background.
Seeing the old stuff... well, I've had the opportunity to see some of it, thanks to Elaine, and it's good. Really good. It works out well for you - you've got lots of funny, good material so that you can take as long as you need to retool things without going on hiatus.
Seeing some of "The Chosen Few" is good. I'm there! (Shameless ego. Never fails.)
Overall - you keep doing what you doing, Steverino. We follow you. We can chant. ;>
