The Night Before Christmas

I know everyone's traveling around and settling down for the Holidays, but I thought maybe this would be kinda fun. We can make a Night Before Christmas poem using ideas from the Steverino board and strip! We each continue off of eachothers posts... I'll start!<P>'Twas the night before christmas,
and all through the night
Steve was slaving away
at Final Fantasy 9.<P>So far he had gotten,
a trance he was in...
the lights and the mistletoe
started to spin.

All of a sudden the door swung open,
It was none other then Bob,
Standing there in all of his joy,
Chomping away on his corn on the cob.<P>Steve looked on annoyed,
His game had frozen,
Bob grinned dummly,
Steve nailed him with fists a dozen.<P>

Steve in a flannel, Bob with his backwards hat
The black homeless cat just settled down in steve's chair for a long winter's nap.
When in the game there arouse such a clatter,
Steve sprang from the floor to see what was the matter.
He ran to the tv screen, he flew like a flash, jumped into the air, and to his bed he did crash.
Then what to Steve's wondering eyes should appear,
Than a secret passage way, Steve knew the end of the Fanasty was near.

Then he woke up... it was now new years eve!
"You've been doing this christmas poem for way too long, Steve!"
Elaine was worried, waht could be wrong?
She knows her boyfriend's been delusional all along.<P>"Come enjoy new years with a hugh and a smootch!"
"Lemme just save my game, you snootch!"<P>The end
