haha - i had a hunch you were gonna bring the ' taxi drivers' back up <IMG SRC="http://www.keenspace.com/forums/biggrin.gif"> - i do like the song ^_^
the idea with the sword is a good one - techinally Vandabar was not Savrin's 'Father' - he was hes adoptive father = if you read 'loss of the love'
but he refurred to him as father anyways <IMG SRC="http://www.keenspace.com/forums/biggrin.gif">
there is a history to Savrin's Sword - in reality it is one of the five Spirt Swords of a Legend which you find out more about later on <IMG SRC="http://www.keenspace.com/forums/smile.gif">

LEGEND OF THE SPIRIT SWORDS
___________________________<P>It is the year of the Craitoa 101- (the years in Talla'doon are named after Collestations of the Talla'iven Zodiac) the city of Uiora in the north part of the Green Downs of Talla'doon had just elected a new king -
a young human called Toirok, although most of his ppl thought of him as being to young a king to assume the throne of a threiving city - Toirok had several consullers to aid him 4 of them were his closest alieies - a angel human named Qiaar - a Fur Feline called Fanargar - An elderly human called Hajok and and Elf called Oiroko - with his 4 advisors behiend him for support - Toirok was able to lead the ppl of Uiora in a new able order
there was something else that held the goup in close unity was the five swords each of them poccessed - passed down from father to son - the swords were said to have been forged by the gods themselves - and given to the ansectors of them - even the furmentials knew nothing about these special swords - each sword had a spirit sealed within side it - that could be called on to lend its strength to its 'keeper' when needed at its most - Orioko had the Blue-spirit sword - Hajok had the Yellow Spirit Sword - Fanargar had the Purple Spirit Sword - Qiaar had the white-spirit Sword (aka Kira) and Toirok had the Red spirit sword the most powerful sword of the Five
That was until Rarkiar rode onto the land - Rarkiar was a human warlord - he destroyed anythign or anyone who got is his way - Rarkiar's Father had been a enemie of Toirok's family for many a year - his main reason for haterad was at the original choseing of the sword bearers - Toirok's Great Grandfather had recieved the first of the Spirit Swords - by an embassedored of the gods - Rarkiar's Great Grandfather had also been present at the choseing - he was so outraged at not being one of the chosen that he swore an oath that he would take the Red Spirit Sword for his own one day- this oath continued on down to Rarkiar himself - for ever had the Main sword - could force the others to follow - in a despreate attempt to save there lives - Toiroks consollers - hurled the other 4 swords into the ocean - 'the Red Spirit well not work without the others - the others could be used by themselves - but the Red Spirit Sword - the main Sword! needed the power of the other 4 to reach its true magic!'
reazling he had been tricked - Rarkiar commaded his forces to destory Uiora - they fought back but they were overwelled - Rarkiar claimed the Red Spirit Sword - but its power was now useless.....
