Things are so slow and unreliable as to be physically painful. I have to dial up half a dozen numbers a dozen times to get a connection, and a slow one at that, but at least I now have a modem I can use. If I ever catch anyone calling a 56k modem "fast" or "reliable" I will suck their heart out through a straw... and enjoy it.BUT at least there are new strips! Up today (Wednesday)!And Sieshirou: screw you. :b

Now what have I done? Anyway welcome back to the world of slow connection, after all we are in UK, a third world country.....or should I use developing country, Mr Geography. I think the proper term is now "economically underdeveloped countries", since we don't want to sound imperialist and imply that everything else is also underdeveloped. Of course, with our superior sense of capitalistic decadance we can (and do) impose our crummy pop music, bad action flicks and plastic fast food on them.Then again, I'm Chinese (Taiwanese. Same difference. EEthnically Chinese, if you insist), so it's all OK as long as I make my bucks at the end of the day (yes, Imperial China has a well developed sense of decadance well before everyone else. Fair enough.I'll still suck their hearts through a straw, though. It's the principle that counts.And that also reminds me: I'll add my ISPs to my list of heart-straw-sucking targets. And my telecoms provider.Boy, that's gonna be a helluvalot of calestrol. Better begin my diet. No wonder Vampires are so picky about their prey.

...they probably don't but they pretend that they do, so I guess you can alway suck on their artificial heart.
