Metalica, what a bunch of fags, they're the posterboys for sell-outs, i remember a time called the 80's when heavy metal bands, didn't sell out, not even metalica, nowadays most band would sell there soul to the devil(sony) for money, exept of course bands like iron maiden and ac/dc, and to all you people who like pop music, go to hell and fuck off, because you people are the dumbiest sons of bitches i've ever met.

I have just become aware that today Napster will be shutting down due to the verdict of their trial brought upon them by the recording industry. This is a travesty. It is a fact thta since Napster's beginnings that cd sales in north america have gone up. Yet those millionares in metallica feel their being ripped off. If that's not greed I don't know what is.It's common knoweldge that metallica sold out long ago. Soon as money becomes more important than your music you've become a sellout. So metallica can go pop for all I care, they weren't that good to begin with. I'll pay Bob Dylan to kick their ass cause their a bunch of PUSSIES.
------------------
I break jaws and egos all for a low price.

HOLY SHIT!!!
METALLICA IS THE CHEAPEST BUNCH OF FUCKING LOSERS I KNOW OF.

i heard today that they walked into a bar, ordered a bunch of expensive drinks, then walked out.
didn't pay, didn't tip.
and it was a bill of $300
what fucking ASSHOLES!!!
trying to use there fame to get out of paying their bar tab.
i mean come on, what fucking losers.
they have the fucking money, its not like that is anything big to them, they could probably pay that money with 20 seconds of record sales
what fucking pricks, rot and die

you know, i buy more cd's now than i did before i got napster. i don't buy cd's for just one or two songs now, i buy it cause i like the band. and if the band sucks, and the one track was the only good song on a cd, i am not going to go buy a fucking $20 cd, or $12 single. FUCK THAT. before napster, you would just go borrow the other guy's cd who regrets buying the damn thing and tape it off him. they think they are losing money, what a bunch of fucking retards, i know people who only tape songs off the radio, never even buy cd's, nope not losing money there. everybody lends cd's to friends so that they can tape or copy them. They aren't losing any fucking money at all. i buy almost all the cd's i have as mp3's. and my collection of singles, whopity fucking do, i am not about to go but 300 single cd's at $12 bucks a shot, those damn artists are supposed to be happy we are even listening to there goddamn music at all.
Look at Dr. DRE. now i don't like rap. but i listen to it at friends houses, all of the new shit dre puts out is him saying over and over, "i don't need this shit, i don't need you, i made my money, i have a big house and cars, i have it made, i am quiting the music buisness." over and fucking over. then he turns around and sues napster. What a FUCK OFF. he doesn't need any more fucking money. lots of people like his music and want to listen to it, they all adore him, he turns around and fucking tries to close it down cause he might lose money. FUCK HIM. I HATE THAT ASSFUCK. GO HOME. GO TO YOUR HOME! GO TO YOUR GODDAMN MANSION! YOUR NOT WANTED IN THE MUSIC COMMUNITY!

I wanna say, Alternica (metallica) didnt shut down napster themselves, they brought media attention to it and from there it went down. I fucking hate Metallica now, and I know as a fact that they lost many fans. It's bitching to get more money. Fuck, if Lars whatshisfuckface went to congress and complained over the unfair censoring of music instead of napster, id be happy. Follow the Zappa man! My brother and I did some cost calculations at how much all the mp3s we downloaded from napster would be.....a lot. My bro downloaded all metallica songs, even the live ones. So basically, our voices mean shit to them. But not to worry, there are eough geeks out there to make another program be as popular as Napster.

I have really mixed feelings about the whole napster issue.
In Metallica's case they have millions already so basically they aren't losing out.
But smaller bands definitely end up losing a lot more if your songs are up and people get that instead of your whole album.
I'm talking about indie bands who don't have a mega corporation backing you.
I really think you cannot replace the music buying experience of going to the store, looking at the artwork and popping it in your stereo.
