Well I can't say much about what I listen to when I draw anymore. So I'll have to stick with when I write. What works for me the best is Tom Waits. He seems to really get my mind to do all kinds of neat acrobatics.
------------------
Hell to the left of me, Lawyers to the right. Here I am, stuck in the middle and screwed!

How about this for a thread...
What kinda music do you listen to while you write/draw your comics?

I personally favor Red Hot Chili Peppers tho sometimes Alice in Chains/jerry cantrell keeps me in line. Lately I've been on a pretty intense Coal Chamber kick.

Okay, whatcha got?
------------------

Oh man!!! High School Memories. The Rouster used to be by nickname in High School Football. "They come to snuff the Rouster!!!!!!! Naw he ain't gonna die!!!!!!!" I like Alice in Chains.
Lately, I watch TV while drawing my cartoons. The strange thing is I never look down at my paper when I draw. Just Kidding. i think the sounds and light quality of a TV just comforts me while I draw. I used to listen to anything musically though. Everytime I bought a CD, I'd pop it in and listen to it all the way through regardless of lousy sounds. The ones that come to mind the most are "The Crow" Soundtrack, Collective Soul, Good 'Ol Michael Jackson(Oh come on, He's the king of Pop!!!!), And even the Bee Gees at one point. At least i don't listen to N' Sync. I could never get through an entire Megadeath CD, but a couple of songs always got my adrenalin pumping. And I never went wrong with Metallica Black. When I got in touch with one of those wonderful CD Burners, it just got better. My mixes had an incredible variety. A little bit of everything, but absolutely no country. Except for Achey Breaky Heart. NOT!!!!!! I'm sure I'm forgetting plenty since I have over 300 CDS.
Pauly
------------------
