What's up?

I'm married two years. I know it changes things and priorities. Hobbies pale when you think about the FACT that you are BOUND to someone for the REST OF YOUR LIFE. It makes you reconsider hobbies, plans, and REALLY makes you think about the future. I'm moving five states away come the spring because I want my kids to live in a HOUSE rather than an apartment. I know what might be influencing you right now.

But.... PLEASE.... let us know what's going ON at least. You said January at the latest. IT'S THE MIDDLE OF JANUARY!!!! I don't mind if you need more time, but how about updating the main page with at least an ESTIMATE of the comic's return.

Well, by now, you should have seen what happened to Meaghan and I on my main page, and you should understand why I haven't been able to get back into the groove like I so want to again.

I finally have temporary stable computer access, so i can catch up on email and communicate to my readers and all, but unfortunately, I have no scanner anywhere near me.

With that said, tho, I'm very sorry for leaving everyone hanging like that -- we honestly did not expect this to happen, and I was supposed to have an update posted almost as soon as I was back in Atlanta.

I can only hope that you can continue to be patient with my situation, and understand that I want to be updating the comic just as much as you want to be reading it.

It warms my hear to hear that you're concerned, tho! Thanks so much for that!

Actually, the paperwork was filed way ahead of time, but they've just been slow with it...

They received it in September, and it's supposed to take 60 days (up to 90 days max)... we had the wedding set for November 30 and thought there'd be plenty of time for everything to get processed.

We still got married and all (which they also knew in advance), but it's now halfway in january, and still no response from ins. so when we came to visit my family for the holidays and came back, they refused me at the border, simple as that.

it sucks 'cause we followed all the guidelines and directions and etc. by the book -- we did everything we were supposed to do and all, and this is how we get rewarded.

What really depresses me is that had I LIED, I'd still be with her right now. But being honest and having proven that I am trustworthy (I've returned every time I was on the '90 day visas') means that I have to be separated from her.

Gotta love how the system works, huh? ^^;;;;

I did not leave online life, I merely took offense to being labeled "one of Kancer's ilk" and took my leave of Hyung's genteel prescence. There seemed to be about 5 people total posting on that board, and only a few of them were worth conversing with. Hyung wasn't one of them.

When real life stops stepping on his neck, perhaps the good artist of Kung Fool will be less of an ass, but I doubt it.

But that doesn't mean I don't enjoy YOUR company.
