I tried to magnify the image, but it appears to be too blurry to make out. It's definitely text, but image quality isn't sufficient to make it legible.

...I think that he's secretly working for the Optomicalotrists Association, and created that first panel specifically to weaken everyone's vision, thus forcing them to go buy glasses.
