Being Saturday's. Or Friday's. Or whenever it appeared in your particular timestream.
Allison rocked today, Damonk! Especially in the last two panels!
That sounds kind of whacked-out when I read it back, but what I mean is that her expressions and the whole hand-shaking thing (which I'm still trying to get down in my own work (it ain't as easy as it appears)) were very well done!
And keep doing the best you can with the strip while finishing school. We'll all still be here when you're done. Well, some of us will be here.
I'll be here, anyway.
Maybe....

BTW, unless you want to keep it a secret, what's your thesis on?
------------------

yeah, i agree, matt -- i'm REALLY happy with how well aliison is coming out these days, especially considering i'm not even using refernce photos anymore to give me a clue as to how to draw some of her poses!
I'm hoping that this pencilwork will continue to flow as smoothly as it has to date...
And as for the thesis -- it's ninety pages of poetry -- DAMONK poetry! Well the kit said it was "steam-style" ale. The "style" part since I obviously don't have the apparatus for steam-filtering (is that how that workds?) beer in my apartment (well, I could as far as you know, but you'll have to take my word that I don't).
I'm not sure how it will come out, since I wasn't able to cool it rapidly enough according to the instructions before I added the yeast. It was supposed to cool to 70°F rapidly, but after an hour in my refrigerator at the coldest setting, the temperature was still above 80°F. But I figure that beer had been brewed for thousands of years before modern trickery such as "sanitization" and "refrigeration" came along. I don't think it will be undrinkable. (Of course, this is coming from somebody who will willingly drink Iron City, so I may not know what I'm talking about. )
But I'll wind up with almost two cases of 16oz bottles, in about three weeks, so if you find yourself in my neck of the woods....
