Just a couple notes on how my comic is categorized (and this isn't a huge issure for me, so don't worry about my turning against you if you don't change it):
First, it's definitely a serial strip--I've been on the same basic storyline for about four months now (not counting my three-month hiatus), and it's not going to end it in the forseeable future. Ditto sci-fi. And I (as in "me") have been a character in the strip almost since Day 1. The Great FRAMED Escape brought that idea to the forefront, and the next issue (which has been riding around in my backpack, uninked, for about two weeks) elaborates on that point more.
Now, I don't want to make it look like I'm jockeying for more mentions on your links page. This is just how I see it. As I said, don't worry about making these changes unless you want to.
Oh, and "Vicious Lies" could probably be considered a "cut-and-paste" comic--Dave only works from about a dozen drawings.
[This message has been edited by Simon_Jester (edited 10-23-2001).]

I want to be in a section made up of comics that are regularly sporadic. And I want the link to be in a different place on the page every week so no one can find it.
I like the links organization; it's very Damonk. But you might want to put in false links here and there in case anyone has the audacity to scroll instead of clicking.
TWO IN A ROW! (even if Sunday was late) I PUT UP TWO IN A ROW! Can I go for Thursday? Ummm...
------------------

Nice, Damonk!
You obviously put a lot of work into it. Well done!
And you didn't list FCE as a gaming comic! Thank you!
Not that it couldn't be considered one, but I didn't start it with that in mind....
------------------

HI dan! Sorry about the belated response!

quote:
Originally posted by Simon_Jester:

Another good example of a cartoon that has its cartoonist as a main character without really playing on metatext would be Nerd Alert... really, it's more like he just called a character "cartoonist"
J-Walkin' also comes close at times, but is not quite a metatoon yet, at least by *my* crazy whacked-out standards...

quote:
