Ah well, I need to work on my overacting for my performance in The Foreigner.

As an unofficial mod, you can state that you would like a thread in the Dreamaniac forum locked, split, etc. and either Andrew or myself will do so upon discovering your request. Neither Andrew or I will delete your topics or posts even if you break the off-topic rule, although this privelage has limits.
Andrew, I expect you to go along with this. Please. He's earned it.

I'm flattered.

By the way, we shouldn't be overreacting anymore. I mean, it's all over and done with, right?

Agreed.
Sorry about the recent influx of filler/single-panel comics. I'm thinking I'm going to have to retcon the style change again; I was practicing with my tablet and figured out a way to make my old style look much nicer. And I just seem to like it better then the massive chibi heads. If I had more readers, I would worry about this throwing them off, but thankfully my fanbase consists almost purely of people I know and talk to on a regular basis.

This thread needs revival. *begins casting Revive*

HYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! *thread is revived*

So, I want to learn a bit more about these "Character weeks" that you've been talking about. By the way, I LOVE Andrew's comics.

About time someone besides myself posted in here. *dusts off topic*
The character weeks are really just me posting five consecutive comics focused on a particular Dreamaniac character(s). They're main purpose is to establish who that character IS in the comic, including all their quirks and oddities. I've done mine and Andrew's thus far. I've been thinking about lumping the side character's week together, so I can get back to making jokes about whatever I feel like. We'll see how that turns out.

Less filler. If you've got nothing meaningful to post, then use the time that is takes to write "this is admiral o'jake'sbrain I'll have some stuff in a bit." And use it to make a better comic for tomorrow.

Well, if you've been paying attention, there HAS been less filler in the comic. No really, go and count the number of strips it's been since the last filler. I'll wait for you.
And I don't necessarily have total control over my brain or circumstances. It sucks, but it's reality.
Generally, I prefer to update late nowadays rather then update filler.

If you can't come up with a joke ask me I've got more than I know what to do with (and that is just my vg parodies). and yes there was less filler i was just reading the comic chronologically backwards.

Pity, perhaps?
Seriously, Neko, keep the trolling off these forums. This is supposed to be a little island of tranquility in the cesspool of the internet.

This isn't trolling. Until this board is flooded with Hitler Porn I am not trolling. I am just harshly criticizing Elliot's opinion. I think it's a good comic, it just isn't good enough for anyone to say they love it I took a somewhat draconian (am I using this term right) stance towards Elliot affection towards your comic. I retract the previous statement. I thought the comic was good I just didn't love it. Though it characterized Lin it just didn't make me laugh. And Elliot and I are friends because of our differences, it makes for good conversations, the truth is clones don't make for good friends.

You are trolling. You deny it, but so do most trolls.
This is not, believe it or not, America. This is the internet. As the mod, I have a duty to keep the lawlessness of these forums to a minimum.
I wont ban you. Yet. But if you don't correct your behavior on these forums, I will find it difficult to control the impulse to hammer you into the next century.

I think you are trolling me! You say all this stuff just to piss me off and get a reaction. How can i correct it?! This is the nicest I can be. I try adding boards that i think you would like they get locked or worse. I apologize for my actions, and apparently I'm being worse now. I will admit that the picture of Alvin Earthworms "art" was too far, but the rest was education.
The post for Elliot was a troll. i apologize to you, Elliot, and the forum for that.
The video gaming progress long cat thing I thought was funny (I was parodying the entirety of my post and how long winded it was), and I though you would enjoy it.
The same goes for the Gaming challenge. I thought that it would be a fun thing among our group
I thought the internet awesomeness board would separate the ideas from the cool internet stuff, so that we don't have a board which is one colossal organizational cluster F***
I'm really sorry. I want to amend my ways because I like this forum and most of it's users.
I am sorry if I tainted your ivory tower.

Yes, you're forgiven.
This all got out of hand, as things tend to do when a new poster joins a forum. I still cringe at my actions during my beginning period on the Comic Genesis forums.
I don't want to have to censor or moderate anything, honestly. I overreacted quite a bit, when I should have realized that I should be accepting the criticism, however pointed, with open arms and an open mind. I do hope you can adjust to the generally light-hearted feeling I want these forums to have, though.
Welcome to the forums, Niko, good to have you here.

Now, back on topic. Can't wait for that comic tomorrow, Jake. Make us proud! *salute*

Er.
Yeah, I tried to make a comic, but without my tablet pen I couldn't produce anything that seemed worthy. Considering my absurdly low standards, that should say something.
I'm thinking about asking Niki or someone at the party this saturday if they have a spare tablet pen, or would be willing to part with one for a while. I called my Aunt Ann, she'll be able to get the one I lost in Wisconsin this weekend, but if I don't rent-a-pen sometime soon I wont be updating next week either.

Niki's is broken. I could lend you one maybe. Try for a guest comic, Shelby makes some good stuff, or I could shite out something decent.
